I help people to gain insight and develop their leadership presence. From the ripples they create in their organization, to how they impact and influence its culture, their professional relationships and their personal lives. Being authentic, communicative, purposeful, decisive, mindful and successful requires an attentiveness and willingness to transform limiting beliefs, attitudes and behaviours. This applies as much to teams as to individuals; it is the dynamics of the relationships that have the greatest influence on how potential is achieved.
I am a leadership development consultant, executive coach and team facilitator as well as a coaching supervisor and mentor to senior executive coaches and organizational consultants. I am also the originator of 9performancepi®, a unique matrix that reflects the connections between the bigger picture and the detail to enable richer perspectives and wiser decisions.
My experience and education is international and diverse and I have worked either as an executive coach, facilitator or trainer across sectors and industries that include blue chip, SME’s and education. Prior to this my earlier executive career was in food, film and publishing in the USA, UK and Australia before becoming a Relate couple therapist, educator, then training consultant designing and delivering development programmes in several countries and to multi-cultural groups.
For almost 20 years I was, at different times, closely involved with the advancement of professional membership organizations: as Trustee and Board Member of BACP; Chair of the Association for Counselling at Work (ACW) and Managing & Founding Editor of its journal; and Honorary Vice President and the Founding Head of Accreditation of AC, and Chair of the Advisory Panel for AC UK. In 2000 I was awarded a Fellowship of BACP, and in 2012 a Life Fellowship of AC. I hold a Masters in organization consulting from Ashridge Business School and various recognised diplomas, certificates and/or accreditations in coaching, mentoring, counselling and teaching.
